Division of Technology
The Division of Technology is an operating unit under the Department of Administration, tasked with helping to facilitate the delivery of technology, security and privacy-related services and solutions to governmental entities throughout the state. - Draft Information Security and Privacy Standards Released
The Division of Information Security (DIS) and the Enterprise Privacy Office (EPO) have released draft standards for compliance with InfoSec and privacy policies. These standards provide additional guidance and clarification for implementation of previously published policies, as well as an updated tool for performing gap analysis, implementation planning, and tracking of implementation progress. - ISC² HCISPP Training Class
DIS will host the ISC² HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) training on Monday, July 13 – Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Division of Technology's Broad River Road location, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.The HCISPP training provides a comprehensive review of healthcare security and privacy concepts and industry best practices.This training is also ideal for agency staff who handle health care and human services related data.To learn more about the HCISPP experience requirements, please refer to the ISC² Experience Requirements webpage.
